Mr. Hicks is easily the best advisor in Computer Science… the University of Kentucky—heck, maybe even the US. I’ve worked with 2 other advisors, and Mr. Hicks is simply on another level. When I wanted to add a major, he came up with a full plan for me, searched for classes outside UK for transfer credits so I could graduate on time, gave me resources like modernstate.org, wrote me a recommendation letter, kept a good word for me with the professors, and calls to check on how am doing. Mr. Hicks goes above and beyond advising.
